Chaparral Electric's owners, Rick Higgins and Linda Higgins-Davidson, are honored to have been named to the boards of prominent local organizations.
Linda is serving on the board of directors of the New Mexico chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. Rick is a member of the board of the Albuquerque Economic Development.
"We have had a long relationship with ABC, and it is an honor to serve on the board of directors," said Linda.
Rick Higgins remembers Chaparral Electric's history as a family-run business and it's role in the community as he participates in AED.
"This business was started by our parents," Rick said. "In the beginning, staff meetings were held at the kitchen table. AED strives to bring businesses to New Mexico, which strengthens our community and the construction industry."
