Since its creation in 1964, Chaparral Electric Co., Inc. has  been grounded in a common sense approach to business: Consistently provide honesty and value to clients and community.

Lou and Catherine Higgins committed themselves to this approach, knowing it would require an ongoing and demanding investment of time and money but convinced it would produce rewards far greater than the common definitions of success.

Their commitment became a family affair and continues to produce results under the direction of their children, Rick Higgins and Linda Higgins-Davidson. Introduced early in life to the idea that the reward of a job well done is a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction, they have nurtured a team environment where superior workmanship and extraordinary service are the standard.
